Daily Journey: Day 174
Integration Has to Be Lived
Scripture (ESV)
“Only let us hold true to what we have attained.” — Philippians 3:16
Integration returns here as lived reality, not review. We’ve used integration as a checkpoint before. Stop, look back, ask what’s taking shape. That matters. But this is different.
This is about whether truth is crossing over into actual life.
Because you can review something and still not live it. You can write down what God showed you, talk about it clearly, even agree with it deeply, and still leave it sitting outside your habits, relationships, decisions, and body.
Lived integration is when truth stops staying in its lane. Prayer starts affecting your tone. Scripture starts touching your schedule. Confession starts changing your relationships. Worship starts getting into your work. Dependence starts shaping how you carry responsibility.
Paul says to hold true to what we have attained. In other words, don’t lose the ground God has already given. Don’t treat formation like disconnected moments. Carry forward what’s been made clear.
Why this matters
If integration stays only reflective, your life can remain divided while your language sounds mature. But when integration becomes lived, truth begins showing up across the whole life, not just in the places that feel spiritual.
Reflection
Where does something God has already shown you need to cross over into actual life?
