Ontology
Discover the foundation of all reality: God’s being and your place as a dependent creature.
What is Ontology?
How to Pronounce: (on-TOL-uh-jee)
Ontology is a big word that simply means: “What is really real?”
Before we talk about how to live better, lead better, or believe better, we slow down and ask a more basic question: What kind of world are we actually living in? And who are we inside that world?
This space is about learning to see reality clearly. Not imagined reality. Not pressured reality. But what is really real—especially before God.
Here, we talk about God as Creator and ourselves as creatures. That means God is the One who gives life, meaning, and direction—and we are people who are meant to receive, respond, and depend. When we forget this, life starts to feel heavy, confusing, or out of control. We try to carry things we were never meant to carry.
Ontology helps us slow down, breathe, and re-orient.
It reminds us that we don’t have to invent ourselves or hold everything together.
This section is not about complicated philosophy.
It is about learning how to live in the world as it truly is—and resting in our place within
