Daily Journey: Day 96

You Saw It Clearly

Scripture (ESV)

“Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.” — Psalm 119:66

There’s a difference between being around something and actually seeing it. Most of the time, we move through our days with partial awareness. We catch pieces, we feel shifts, but we don’t fully recognize what’s happening until it’s already played out.

But then there are moments where it’s clear. You don’t just feel something—you see it. The tone of a conversation. The shift in your own attitude. The direction something is heading before it gets there. It’s not guesswork. It’s right in front of you.

That kind of awareness doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from slowing down enough to actually live in reality instead of running past it. And when that awareness is anchored in God, it’s not just perception—it’s alignment. You’re seeing things in light of what is true, not just how they appear in the moment.

And once you see it clearly, you don’t get to pretend you didn’t. That’s where leadership starts to carry weight. Because now your response isn’t based on confusion—it’s based on what’s been revealed.

Why this matters

If you don’t see clearly, you’ll keep reacting late and wondering why things feel out of control. But when awareness sharpens under what is true about God, your decisions begin to carry clarity instead of guesswork.

Reflection

Where in your life are you seeing clearly—but still tempted to ignore it?
