Daily Journey: Day 109
The Fog Started to Lift
Scripture (ESV)
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33
Confusion has a way of making everything feel heavier than it is. Not always because the situation is impossible, but because you cannot see it clearly. The fog itself becomes exhausting. You are not just carrying the issue; you are carrying the mental and emotional weight of not knowing what is true, what matters, or what comes next.
Clarity does not mean you know everything. That is important. Sometimes clarity is simply knowing the next faithful step. Sometimes it is knowing what is not yours to carry. Sometimes it is seeing the difference between what happened and what you added to it.
God is not the author of confusion. That does not mean every situation becomes simple, but it does mean confusion is not where you are meant to live. As you are formed, the fog starts to lift. You begin to see what is true, what is false, what is yours, what is not, and where obedience actually begins.
Why this matters
If you live in confusion long enough, you will start calling fog normal. But when clarity begins to form under God, you can stop spinning and begin responding to what is actually in front of you.
Reflection
Where do you need clarity—not about everything, but about the next faithful step?
